National Institute of Fashion Technology Kangra, located in the Kangra Valley embarked on its journey in 2009. Since its inception, NIFT Kangra has emerged as a significant contributor to the textile, apparel, lifestyle accessories, and fashion communication industries. A range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various facets of fashion and design are offered at NIFT Kangra.

NIFT Kangra is a campus of the National Institute of Fashion Delhi. Courses at the NIFT Kangra include a Bachelor of Design ( B. Des ) in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design and Fashion Communication along with a B. F. Tech ( BFT ) in Apparel Production, Master of Design ( M. Des ) and Master of Fashion Management ( MFM ).
