New Delhi YMCA Institute for Media Studies and Information Technology, New Delhi YMCA locally called is a reputed educational centre in New Delhi, India. This institute was set up in 1984 as a co-educational institute and is counted amongst the pioneers of media education, and will complete 40 years of its existence soon.

It delivers 14 courses, two of which are at degree levels, across the niche of Media Studies and Information Technology. New Delhi YMCA now has 11 faculty members, all of whom are dedicated professionals who train future media professionals in a favourable learning environment.

The New Delhi YMCA Institute of Media Studies and Information Technology (IMSIT), established in 1984 and located in Connaught Place, New Delhi, is a private institute affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. New Delhi YMCA has all the necessary amenities for providing students with the best learning environment.

The institute has a well-equipped library to accommodate all students’ needs and offers a large variety of literature in the field of media studies and allied disciplines. The swimming pool, which is the only licensed swimming pool in Delhi, and all swimming trainers and lifeguards are also licensed.

For the accommodation of students coming from different parts of the country, the institute also has boys' hostel and girls' hostel facilities. New Delhi YMCA Institute for Media Studies and Information Technology provides a wide range of programmes to fulfil the needs of the media in every field.

The institute offers 14 full-time diploma and post-graduate diploma courses for students focusing on both technical knowledge and pragmatic abilities. These courses mentioned below offer various specialisations such as Digital Media, Television Production and Journalism, Development Journalism, Film Making, Photography , Public Relations, Event Management, Computer Applications and Digital Media.
