Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agriculture Sciences, Manipur (PDDUIAS), is one of the newly established agricultural universities which came into existence in the year 2017. Being a co-educational affiliated college located in Utlou, Bishnupur District, the main function of this college is to promote agricultural studies and learning. P. D. D. U. I. A. S.

is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, popularly known as NAAC, for quality output. The institute specially provides 12 courses under three degree programmes in several disciplines related to agriculture. With a student population of 199 and a faculty of 45 members, PDDUIAS has provided ample opportunity for enhancing students' learning and innovations in agricultural sciences.

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agriculture Sciences is affiliated with Manipur University . The institute have numerous amenities that primarily afford the students and faculty a better experience and enable them to achieve their academic successes. Further, there is a guest house for the faculty of the institute and the students’ families, also for courtesy and care.

PDDUIAS delivers a complete set of agricultural courses; it provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes. There are 6 full-time undergraduate programme in the form of B. Sc. and 6 in the form of full-time Masters that are known as M. Sc. The B. Sc.

programmes are Agriculture Science (Hons) , Horticulture Science (Hons), Community Science (Hons) , Fishery Science (Hons), Food Science and Technology (Hons), and Forestry Science. At the postgraduate level, the M. Sc. programmes are agriculture , horticulture, community science , fishery science, food science and technology and forestry .

Pursuing a total intensity of 199 students, PDDUIAS provides focused and effective education for each student. Admission at PDDUIAS is also competitive, relying on the most competent candidates in the agricultural sciences.
