PRS College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

PRS College of Engineering and Technology, (PRSCET) was started in 2003, is one of the reputed Technical Institution located in the capital city of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. Located on a vast 25-acre space, PRSCET has various engineering courses to the prospective student. The college being an affiliated institution caters a total student enrolment of 248 with a committed faculty staff of forty six members.

PRS College of Engineering and Technology provides numerous amenities which are fitting to the modern college and meant to improve students’ learning environment. The library which is one of the basic infrastructure services to an institution has in its collection over fourteen thousand technical books, seventy two national and international journals and magazines subscribed to.

It also provides reprographic services, to guarantee students get all the materials that they need for studying. In this regard, PRSCET has established practical laboratories for every department of the institution. The campus has air conditioned seminar halls with sophisticated A/V aids for presentation and deliberation of subjects.

PRSCET has a broad spread of engineering disciplines, and they are all 4-year full-time B. Tech programmes. The offered six specialisations are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning engineering.

According to the modern trends of selection in different institutions PRSCET also has formulated the admission process to offer admissionﻟto deserving candidates through different entrance tests.

The college mainly consider score from Joint Entrance Examination ( JEE Main ) for admission to engineering courses. Further, the admission of PRSCET also includes the scores of Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination abbreviated as KEAM, who caters to applicants of the state.
