Punjab Institute of Technical Education, Fatehgarh Sahib, which was started in 2009, is a center of technical education for Punjab’s growth. Affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, this is one of the most reputed affiliated college set in the tranquil village of Sarkapra over an expansive 15 acres of lush green land that provides a most desirable academic atmosphere.

AICTE recognized institute and is being ranked among well known authorities which provide technical education. Today, the school has 81 enrolled students and 9 employees who act as faculty who make sure that each intending engineer receives proper attention. Presently, the institute offers four full-time diploma courses ; each course is aimed at imparting employability skills as well as vocational knowledge required in the students’ respective future professions. The courses provided by the college are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication.

The diploma courses provided are generic and cover major areas of engineering through offering technical education that produces equally competent technical workforce.
