Rao Lal Singh College of Education, Gurugram, was basically founded in the year 1974. It is one of the premier institutions of teacher education. The co-educational college is situated on the Delhi-Jaipur NH-8 in Sidhrawali Village. It occupies an area measuring about 3. 6 acres. This is an affiliated college, and it has been accredited by NAAC and approved by NCTE.

The college offers three full-time degree courses, namely B. Ed, M. Ed, and D. El. Ed, to a total of 264 students. This is quite a reasonable student-to-teacher ratio; it stands at 264 to 11, hence allowing for close attention to and quality teaching in the field of teacher training. These institutions boast a wide range of facilities for the convenience of the learning process of their students.

These courses offered at the college range from Bachelor of Education and Master of Education to Diploma in Elementary Education. Thus, the sanctioned intake capacity of the college is 200 students: 100 for the B. Ed. programme, 50 for the M. Ed. programme, and 50 for the D. El. Ed. programme.
