Ravi College, Kolar

Ravi College of Education, established in the year 2003, is an affiliated College located in Gowripet, Kolar, Karnataka. The institute is acknowledged by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which makes its courses to be of good quality in Teaching field. Ravi College is located on a small piece of land of 1. 27 acres and hence, must provide the best learning environment for their students.

The college was accredited with 181 students and sixteen members of faculty. Ravi College is a teachers’ training college that offers a B. Ed programme and has been approved to take 100 students. Ravi College of Education has been management’s goal to make sure that the college delivers a full package.

The campus amenities include a well stocked up library with more than four thousand, three hundred books, five hundred and ten of them being novels and three hundred reference books which may include encyclopedia and dictionaries. The library consists of a reading room that can comfortably seat 50 students for while they study or undertake research.

The college provides a health centre with first aid services necessary for the learning processes of students. The college also has an event and seminar facility in form of an auditorium enhancing the college activities and experince. In this regards, the institute has departmental labs as well as good infrastructure facilities for IT support for practical knowledge.

A sports had is provided to allow the students to balance their timetable and conduct their meals through a school canteen which also caters for the teachers. Ravi College of Education, Kolar aims at offering quality teacher education in its B. Ed . This is an academic course that takes two years to complete and intends to produce competent teachers.
