Rayat Polytechnic College situated at nawanshahr punjab was set up in 2003 and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. Located on the Chandigarh Ropar Jalandhar Highway the college is 6 kilometers from Ropar and the college is equipped with a facilities of 300 acres of land for the college campus.

Rayat Polytechnic College offering diploma programmes in all Engineering disciplines has student strength of total 510 and faculty strength of total 49. The institution has fully paid its allegiance to technical education as it has six full-time diploma courses offered to students in diversified branches of engineering.
