Renuka Debi Shikshak Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, Nadia

Renuka Debi Shikshak Shikshan Mahavidyalaya is an independent college founded in 2017 situated in Nadia, West Bengal. This school for both boys and girls is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), it has specialised in offering teacher education programmes. Spread over an area of one acre, the college admits 138 students and has a faculty of 21 members.

The institute has two programmes in education for intending teachers interested in becoming effective instructors of the future. Renuka Debi Shikshak Shikshan Mahavidyalaya strives to ensure that the students in the college get the best environment for learning. I believe it has every facility that any trio can require to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Bowen library remains a source of research and learning materials provides relevant information to the members. An auditorium helps support events and seminars and encourages the diffusion of ideas as well as culture. The college has also equipped itself with very good IT facilities to enable students have the required technologies to enhance their college needs.

Renuka Debi Shikshak Shikshan Mahavidyalaya has less variety, which is part of a positive, as the college offers education courses for full time only and has two courses in the given field. In terms of academic offerings the institute offers double Each B. Ed programme and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) course.

Overall the college targets a total approved intake of 150 students in both programmes with an end result of producing qualified and competent teachers. Admission to higher learning institutions requires a certain mark obtained in the qualification examinations and or an entrance examination in Renuka Debi Shikshak Shikshan Mahavidyalaya.

Admission to the college follows the norms laid down by the state government of west bengal and the university to which the college is affiliated to.
