RIMT Polytechnic, Gobindgarh

RIMT Polytechnic is an affiliated college situated at Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab which was started its journey in 2005. It is recognised by a renowned All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), to provide standard technical education. As per the total enrolment of students coming to the college is 245 and the faculty recruiting in the RIMT Polytechnic is 68 Which Provides optimum student faculty ratio.

Currently it offers six diploma programmes in the different engineering fields so as to meet the need of different technician. It has numerous amenities that aim at improving the condition under which learning is carried out among students of the institute. The fully automated library has a vast stock of texts, reference, and handbooks, national and international journal and e-resource subscriptions.

IT infrastructure is very strong with over 600 branded computers linked to I. B. M machines, status of student computerization and internet connection is excellent, no interruption is allowed. It also has very good sport complex to encourage indoor games in addition to academic education RIMT Polytechnic.

This Polytechnic institution has a total of six full time engineering diploma courses all which take three years to complete. The programs available are Diploma in Civil Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering-II (second shift).
