Saltora B. Ed. College, established in 2005, is an affiliated college situated in Bankura, West Bengal. This co-ed campus is compactly spread on 2. 13 acres with the motto of fostering the future educators of our nation. This college is affiliated by NCTE and runs two specialized programs in education. With a total student enrolment of 200 and a faculty strength of 17, Saltora B. Ed.

College provides a focused learning environment to aspiring teachers. This institution has a number of facilities oriented toward facilitating its students in imbibing knowledge. It has established a library that is one of its strongest academic resources, having 6,200 books, 9 educational journals, and 36 encyclopedias on its shelves, with a seating capacity of 200 students.

This vast repository of knowledge serves as a veritable aid to budding educators. The college has well-maintained, equipped laboratories that include a Laboratory-cum-Resource Center for Social Science, Science and Mathematics, Art and Craft, Music, Psychology, Educational Technology, ICT, Health and Physical Education with a Yoga Centre.

All these laboratories are properly maintained according to the NCTE norms so that the students get to work with fully equipped, state of the art equipment for their practical studies. The Saltora B. Ed. College offers two full-time courses, both extending two years. The sanctioned intakes of the B. Ed. and D. El. Ed. are 100 each, with a total enrollment of 200 students.
