Sane Guruji Prabodhini, Comprehensive College of Education, Khiroda was established in year 1970 and affiliated to Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hirne Arts & AM Rajde College, Jalgaon, located at Raver, Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. It is a co-educational institution recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) meaning that this institution takes the part of teacher education seriously.

Occupying a very limited piece of land, this college is well designed to provide a niche education to learners who wish to become educators. Currently the college has a 33 students and 6 strong faculty members who ensure that the institution still provides close educational experience as desired with limited number of students.

Sane Guruji Prabodhini, Comprehensive College of Education is proud of its range of facilities aimed to contribute to successful studying process of students. The library, as many consider to be the centre of intellect of the institution, is only partly automated and holds numerous information sources that can be valuable for educational activities.

Concerning instructional facilities, the college offers departmental facilities for practical experience to students in their area of specialisation through differentiation of laboratory facilities among departments. It also has a very good information technology centre which prepares the students with appropriate skills in use of technology.

For the purpose of a more rounded development of such students, the college provides for sports and gymnasium and thereby fosters the physical development of its students in tandem with the academic development. An auditorium is a hall for special events and seminars and is one of the trademarks of a lively campus.

Another part of the stakeholders’ concerns is the student welfare and to this end the college has a health centre with first aid facilities a canteen for refreshments as well as guest house for the visiting faculty members/family. The main aim of Sane Guruji Prabodhini, Comprehensive College of Education is to offer quality father and education and specialised in teaching.

Currently the college has only one full course which is the B. Ed course that is Bachelor of Education programme. This two-year programme has an approved student capacity of fifty students to ensure the college maintains its policy of small classes as a means of facilitating learning. The B.
