Sanskar Institute of Professional Studies, Gwalior

Sanskar College of Professional Studies, which started its new session in 2014-15, is an affiliated college situated at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This institution being approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) focuses in teacher education.

Currently, the institute has the total student intake of 100 students and has 9 faculty members, All of this infrastructure and student and faculty strength is confined to a small area of 0. 92 acres of land. At the present time the college offers only one course, B. ED which has a total intake capacity of 50 students and aims at producing quality teachers.

This institute laid down some of the facilities that can help students while learning and their overall growth. It has a volleyball court, a football and a cricket field and a badminton court and instills teamwork for physical fitness.

To immerse in scholarship, the college has two laboratories: Both are well taken care of and fully manned with full-time lab assistants; and equipped with all the necessary apparatus for B. Ed experiments. The computing equipment include 15 computers, two printers and an LCD projector, which are sufficient to offer the students better technological equipment.

For those interested in research and reading, there is a library while for celebrations and seminars there is an auditorium. Sanskar Institute of Professional Studies offers a single course: a two year full time B. Ed program with an intake capacity of 50 students for each batch.

This focused approach enables the institute minimize the provision of services because it is able to focus on only one area, in this case teacher education. B. Ed programme is the programme enabling the student to work as a teacher in any school, giving him or her pedagogical knowledge and skills.

Sanskar Institute of Professional Studies follows the process of direct admission to the applicants based on the percentages scored in the qualifying exam and/or entrance test. As for admitting students, the institute is under the legislation of the state government of Madhya Pradesh as well as the affiliated university.
