Santipur Primary Teachers Training Institute is one of the most prominent Institutes located in Nadia, West Bengal dedicated to enhance the quality of the primary teachers of the future. The co-educational institute has been preparing the potential teachers for more than ten years since its founding in 2010.

Located on one and forty-four acre of total land, the institute provides core oriented education to its 239 registered learners. Currently the institute is staffed by 21 highly qualified teachers who come with adequate experience to provide students with adequate individual attention as well as quality teaching.

Santipur Primary Teachers Training Institute has available facilities that help in the learning process of its students. Every good library is a centre of academic activity on the campus in terms of book, journals and other reference material in and out of the campus. The computers can be operated with 25 students at once in the reading room that is designed to meet all necessary needs for studies.

The concept of embedding technology in the institute is well supported by its IT features for which there is an Internet facility which operates round the clock and has a broadband of 12 Mbps.

At the technical level, the institute has offered well-equipped laboratories for practical training such as language laboratory, life science laboratory, physical science laboratory, mathematics laboratory, geography laboratory and psychology laboratory. The other facility at the institute is a large, well-equipped multi-purpose hall with 250-seating capacity for use in academic and cultural-related activities.

Admission to Santipur Primary Teachers Training Institute is as per merit in either the qualifying examination and/or the entrance test. The admission policies followed in the institute are in accordance to the guidelines provided by the state government of West Bengal as well as the affiliated university. In this D. El.
