Saraswati Girls College of Education, Bhatinda

Saraswati Girls College of Education, Bhatinda, started in the year 2012, is a women's college affiliated with the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chandigarh and is located in Maur Mandi, District Bhatinda, Punjab. The institute is situated in a 3 acre area is recognised under the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college 98 students in total for each calendar year and with 8 members in faculty the institute provides a professional environment for learning. Saraswati Girls College of Education has a variety of amenities aimed at improving the curriculum of the students.

There is an equipped girls’ hostel has a capacity to house one hundred and eighty students and members of the teaching staff Including; a visiting room, the warden room, TV and recreational room, the laundry and a medical centre. The institute has the library facility containing the books, journals, magazines and digital literatures, and other internet facilities.

For physical development, there is a play ground for indoor games like, basketball, volleyball, kho–kho etc. It also encompasses technologically advanced IT labs and branded food items available at the campus canteen and newly built air conditioned auditorium that can accommodate 450 students comfortably.

Saraswati Girls College of Education has separate administrative units for providing teacher education, and it has been provided with a sanctioned strength of admitting 50 students in the D. El. Ed programme . Specialisation of this manner allow the institute to channel its efforts to delivering quality education in the area of elementary teaching.

While admitting faculty and teachers in Saraswati Girls College of Education, the following criteria were also followed: marks secured in the qualifying exam and the marks secured for the entrance exam.
