Sardar Gyan Singh Memorial College, Gwalior

Sardar Gyan Singh Memorial College Gwalior was founded in 2005, it is affiliated college situated at Bada Gaon Morar Gwalior Madhya Pradesh. This institution is situated in a small piece of land measuring 1. 8 acres and its aims rendering quality education in teaching profession.

The college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers two specialized courses: Two years Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) & One years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). The college has a very small faculty strength of 8 members which is a good thing for a college that wants to produce excellent faculties of the future.

Sardar Gyan Singh Memorial College has got several structures meant to aid the learning process of their students. Amid these facilities there is a fully stocked up library with 3,852 books that have been sourced to target the B. Ed students. It also avails journals, newspapers, and internet facilities making a comprehensive resourceful centre for aspiring teachers.

This is illustrated by the institutions use of modern education technology in its educational technology lab which includes the LCD projectors, overhead projectors and audio visual items. In order to cater the need of all round development of the students, the college has play fields for different sports and games.

Sardar Gyan Singh Memorial College, currently presented two full time courses for the profession of education. This schools Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course is a two year course with an approved admission capacity of fifty students for preparing teachers. Another two-year programme named the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) deals with training teachers for primary school.

The admission policy is based on the schedule cast merit system depending on either the qualifying or entrance test. Like many other colleges in India, this college also has the admission process formulated by the state government, Union Territory administration, college authority and the university to which the college is affiliated.
