SBCMS Institute of Technology, Hoshiarpur was set up in 1997 at Attalgarh, Mukerian, Punjab and is approved by the A. I. C. T. E, Govt. of India/Govt. of Punjab. This affiliated college providing the various diploma courses in the engineering disciplines has permission from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India.

Located in a campus of 5 acres; SBCMS Institute of Technology has total enrolment capacity of 311 students and 56 faculty members. Currently, the institute offers five diploma courses that incorporate stuctured, vocational training in mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Civil and Electronics and communication streams.

SBCMS Institute of Technology is as well proud to host a number of ultramodern facilities that make learning more efficient to the students. The college library which is a store house of knowledge can gobble approximately 200 students at a time they subscribe to books, magazines, periodicals and the scientific journals.

Thus to ensure that the campuses are relevant to the digital age, the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled so that students can easily source for materials on-line. Giving practical knowledge in subject areas, the Niagara institute is equipped with a number of laboratories for school subjects for that purpose.

For rest and recreation, a neat and clean modern cafeteria prepares and serves fresh and healthful food round the clock. The IT facilities are also rich with up to date facility that includes a computer laboratory had internet connection and has power back up for continuous learning. SBCMS Institute of Technology have a total of five full time diploma courses and BCA which span three years in each of the programmes.
