Scholar B. Ed. College, Giridih, is an affiliated B. Ed college instituted in the year 2013 to impart teacher education in Jharkhand. Banhatti is the place which this co-educational college is established in, in Giridih district – the college is spread over a small area of 1. 999 acres.

The institute is and approved by the National council for Teacher Education(NCTE) that makes it, to meet the standard set down on the training or teachers in the country. Scholar B. Ed. College currently offers two primary courses: called Bachelor of Education and the Diploma in Elementary Education. Basically, both are full full-time courses which take two years to complete and prepare students to become competent teachers.

The two courses are vended in the college with an approved student capacity of two hundred with equal distribution of one hundred in each programme.
