Shaheed Nand Singh Government Polytechnic College, Bareta was established in 2012, an affiliated college situated in Bareta, Punjab. The plot area of this government owned institution is of 5 acres and its primary mission is to deliver the quality technical education. Affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the college has devised two diploma programmes in the engineering fields.

At present the faculty strength of the institute is 10 members the institute is all set to provide a positive environment for the students. Shaheed Nand Singh Government Polytechnic College has various amenities that would improve the learning ccd environment of all the learners in the institution. It has a good infirmary to host the technological tools that students require for their college needs.

It also provides spacious and well-endowed laboratory for each department to add practical sessions in the developments of the theoretical framework. Shaheed Nand Singh Government Polytechnic College conducts two full residential diploma courses each extending to a period of three years.
