Shimurali Sachinandan College of Education, Shimurali is a premier teacher training institute in the district of Nadia, West Bengal. Established in the year 1976, it is affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning and Administration and has received its recognition from National Council for Teacher Education.

It is further accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, which proves the institute's commitment toward the provision of quality education. This 1-acre campus presently possesses a total of 198 students and 14 faculty members. Only one degree course has come into effect, namely Bachelor of Education, with the aim of constructing efficient future teachers.

This college has quite an array of facilities, which function to enhance learning processes among the students. At the center of the academic resources is a well-stocked library, offering lending and reference services. A student is expected to borrow at least 30 books during an academic session, fostering a culture of wide reading.

The campus contains six specialized laboratories catering to physical science, life science, geography, work education, educational technology, and psychology and computer science for conducting different types of academic activities. These laboratories form a very important part of practical learning in these subjects for the students who are about to take up the profession of teaching.

Other campus facilities include an auditorium that can also facilitate events and seminars, a canteen offering refreshments, and a girls' hostel that is fully equipped with modern facilities and security.

Wi-Fi connectivity on campus provides students with electronic resources and supplements the IT infrastructure of the college, comprising the latest upgraded desktops and an overhead projector for teaching and learning purposes. There is only one course provided by the Shimurali Sachinandan College of Education.
