Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Science and Technology (SRIST) was established in the year 2010. It is an AICTE-approved affiliated technical institute located in Kolkata, West Bengal, offering various diploma programs in different streams of engineering. Situated on a small 3-acre campus, SRIST has an enrolment of 1,176 students and a faculty number of 66.

The institute offers six diploma courses in various engineering disciplines to meet the interest diversity of prospective technicians and engineers. In terms of infrastructure, SRIST offers an impressive array of facilities in order to ensure the duel objective of a great learning experience and large space for every student.

The infrastructure contains well-equipped laboratories and workshops for essential hands-on training required for technical education. The library is a part of the valuable resource for academic purposes, which contains a variety of textbooks, reference materials, journals, and magazines.

The college has an IT infrastructure with a modern computer laboratory that allows practical sessions for students both in the course and in project work. The facility is accessed by the students through the internet, where they also carry out their research. Moreover, SRIST oversees students with separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls, with full generator backup.

There is also a canteen on the campus where a student can relax after or between classes. The auditorium on the campus provides for events and seminars that create a good academic environment. In total, the institute offers six full-time diploma courses. These are three-year programs.
