Shri Rawatpura Sarkar College of Education, Lahar, was established in the year of 2008 and is an affiliated college situated in Bhind District of Madhya Pradesh. It is a co-educational institution having its campuses covering 1 acre land and offering quality education in teaching field.

The college holds recognition of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for quality delivery of education; it is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Strategically placed in Andhra Pradesh, the Institute has a faculty of 16 members which provides 5 courses spread across 4 degrees in teacher education programmes.

Shri Rawatpura Sarkar College of Education has installments that are intended to improve learning environment and the outcome of each student. The built-in and up to date latest books, reference and prospectus, national and international journal and reprographic services to facilitate easy access of study materials in the well equipped library.

I learned that college’s IT resources comply with trends in the use of educational technologies; besides that, there is an up-to-date auditorium with the seating of 250 guests which can be used for conferences, presentations, and workshops.

The subject specific laboratories include the psychology lab and the information, communication technology (ICT) lab. The institute has provided separate hostels for boys and girls even outstation students feel comfortable to live there. Ed, B. Sc B. Ed , M. Ed and D. El. Ed to fulfill the different requirements of teacher education. The total intake approved for these courses is 400 where, B. Ed, BA B. Ed, B. Sc B. Ed, M. EDd and D. El. Ed have 100, 100, 50 and 50 respectively. These are programmes which prepare the students for teaching and other educational administrative posts to allow them discharge their duties effectively.
