Slopeland College of Teachers Education, Khongjom

Slopeland College of Teachers Education is a recognised institution of higher learning, located at Khongjom, in Manipur, and was founded in 2012. This is a co-educational college, occupying a small piece of land of 1. 5 acres, which focuses on the delivery of high-quality education in the teachings and other professional discipline.

Approved by the National Council of Teacher Education and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Slopeland College functions as an affiliated college. This college enroled 193 students and has a faculty of 20 members with three courses . Most of its facilities are aimed directly at the improvement of the learning process.

The campus includes a separate facility for hostels for male and female students who might want to live inside the campus. There is a fully resourced library for learning resources and facilities and well-equipped laboratory for practical learning.

The institute offers programmes such as BBA , BCA, and B. Ed . The college’s flagship course is the B. Ed programme and the college has been approved for having an intake capacity of 100 students. However, with the total student numbers in all programmes is standing at 193, these numbers imply a total enrolment and thus capacity.
