SR College of Education, Gwalior

SR College of Education was established in 2005 in Gwalior and is one of the leading institutes to provide quality education. This co-educational college is situated in Morar, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and the college grounds occupy an area of 1. 4727 acres.

The institute has a strong leadership, quality education, and research centre that has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The courses offered at SR College of Education include a limited list of full-time programmes specifically in the area of education. The institute provides three distinct programmes : B. El. Ed. , i. e. , Bachelor of Education Degree, Bachelor of Education ( B. Ed.

), Master of Education (M. Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed. ). Each of them is intended for learners with various levels of education experience, from the basic level of knowledge of the principles of teaching to the highest level of educational administration. For B. Ed. and D. El. Ed. programmes, the intake capacity is 100, while for M. Ed. the intake capacity is 50.

However, while deciding about the course of admission, it is kept in mind to be merit-based and transparent at SR College of Education. In the case of the B. Ed. and D. El. Ed.

programmes, admissions will be made depending on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying test(s) and/or entrance test. The college also reserves any other process of selection as spelt out by the policies of the state government or the UT administration. Likewise, for the M. ED.

programme, admission will be strictly on merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance examination or any other criteria devised by the state government, university, or UT administration.
