Subhas Chandra Basu B. Ed. Training College, Heria, was established in the year 2007. It is situated at Jararnagar, Heria, in the district of Purba Medinipur in West Bengal. This college is affiliated and functions under the recognition of the National Council for Teacher Education. It belongs to the co-education college and caters to only teacher education sections.

At the time of its establishment, the college acquired the status of the degree college on 2. 18 acres of land. The staff count is 18, and it enrols 293 students every year, which is quite an appreciable number. The college provides two full-time, residential initial teaching courses: Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) and Master of Education (M. Ed. ).
