The Self Finance college situated at Giridih, Jharkhand, which was established in the year of 2008, is Subhash Teachers Training College. This co-educational college affiliated with the state university is established for preparing future educators. This college is spread over an area of 0. 6475 acres on its compact campus but has been certified by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Each programme is supposed to admit 100 students, and therefore, the total number of students in the programme is 200. These courses are meant to prepare the students to become professional teachers in all the stages of the education system. Ed programme is made with reference to the marks secured in different examinations right from graduation/postgraduation. Ed programme includes marks of examinations as per the +2 level or equivalent level examination.
