Sumandeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital is one of the constituent college under Sumandeep University which is Ayurved College in Waghodia, Gujarat. The specifically aimed institute that came into existence with an objective to encourage Indian system of medicine provides BAMS programme.
WHO recognised college is approved by Central Council of Homeopathy and aims to give quality education in the field of Ayurveda. Sumandeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital is proud to have many amenities that are supposed to make the learning environment and experience of the students better.
The library is seen to be a major accomplishment as it contains 36525 books and is categorised in different fields of medical science, along with Ayurveda. The students get more than 260 foreign and Indian journals per annum and institutional membership with DELNET/2500 plus e-journals.
For the accommodation of students the college has a separate hostels for boys and girls with various facilities like RO water,TV rooms, reading rooms and meditation/yoga corner. Sports minded there is a world class sports complex, games facilities as well as multi-gym. In addition, there is a canteen, transport, and health facilities in form of a centre, which provides first aid services for students.
The Sumandeep Ayurved Medical College and Hospital till now has only one full time course that is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). Ayurveda has a vast curriculum, and its learning here takes six years to enable the students gain good knowledge and understanding of the concept.
According to approval, total 100 seats are available for the BAMS course at institute and it has no intention to compromise over quality education and large intake.
