Tarkeshwar Prasad Verma College, Narkatiyaganj, came into existence in the year 1971. This is a co-educational institution located on a 5-acre campus with a lush green area. It is a constituent college of quality education that the college has imparted and for which NAAC has accredited it.
Its total of enrolment students is 5,488, while it has a strength of 9 faculty members teaching a wide array of courses to quench the diverse aspirations of students coming from all walks of life. Courses to be offered will include a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science , a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Computer Applications.
These courses shall provide theoretical skills and knowledge with practical exposure to the students for helping them face higher competitions in their chosen careers. Admission into almost all courses is generally made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. In contrast, the B. Ed course has a more structured admission procedure. The students seeking admission to the B.
Ed course shall be selected based on the performance of the students in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Other selection processes may also be used by the college according to the guidelines of the State Government or the UT Administration.
