The Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata was established in the year 1893. It has a compact 1. 5-acre campus with an enrolment of 446 students, with a strength of 10 faculty members. Undergraduate courses comprise specialized Bachelor of Fine Arts in various sub-disciplines of Visual Arts.
The Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship is pledged to provide a responsive environment for artistic growth and learning. The working hours for students are provided with an important resource-the valuable reference books and journals pertaining to Art housed in the College Library.

Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship has focused and specialized academic programs in the form of four full-time BFA programs, namely BFA in Graphic Art, BFA in Sculpture , BFA in Applied Art, and BFA in Painting with honors. Each course is spread over four years, in which students are provided with theoretical as well as practical knowledge in their respective art fields.
