Uttar Dinajpur Primary Teachers Training Institute, located at Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal, is an institute intended for aspirant teachers. This affiliated college was founded in 2016. Within a time as short as this, it has risen to become one of the pivotal institutions concerning teacher education in the Uttar Dinajpur district. At this NCTE-approved institute, there are two full-time courses. B. Ed and D. El. Ed.

It offers two prime courses, both of two years duration. The D. El. Ed course prepares students for Primary School teaching with an approved intake of 100 students.

Both are full-time courses and would provide intensive training to the students to equip them with skills and knowledge for effective teaching. With these two-foundation programs, the institute is able to give focused attention to teacher training, in a manner that graduate teachers are comprehensively prepared for their professional roles.

Admission to Uttar Dinajpur Primary Teachers Training Institute, an affiliated college of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata , is strictly based on merit in the qualifying examinations and entrance examinations. Specifically, admission in the B. Ed course shall be as per respective policies of the state government/Union Territory administration, and the affiliating university.

Similarly, in respect of the D. El. Ed course, the admission procedure to be followed shall be as laid down by the state government.
