Uttaran College of Education, Bankura was established in the year 2009 at Deshbandh, Damodarbati, Onda, West Bengal. This is a co-educational institution affiliated with and approved by NCTE. This institution imparts specialized programs in education. The institution spreads over a compact campus of 0. 97943 acres and has at present a total student strength of 400 and a faculty strength of 33.

The faculty, staff, and students are provided with ample parking space. Uttaran College of Education, Bankura offers the following two major courses: B. Ed and D. El. Ed; both are regular programs and run for two years. UG and PG regular courses at the institution have a consistent intake of 50 students per course, and hence, every year, the college offers a total of 100 seats for both courses.
