Vidya Vahini Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college catering to teacher education, located at Bhind in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational institution has been preparing teachers for Learning for over a decade and has been in existence since 2007.

The college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers two full-time programmes: Two teacher education programmes of four-year degree status namely the B. Ed and the D. Ed each admitting 50 students at a time. Situated at Yadunath Nagar on the By Pass Road, it is the place where young and interested Teachers can enhance their skill and knowledge.

Vidya Vahini Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has availability of facilities which supplement the learning needs of students in their daily learning activities. At the centre of these comforts is a soundproof, air-conditioned library, which is well equipped for the information seeker.

To encourage independent reading, the library has a reading hall with proper arrangements for group study They also have a Departmental library which contains books as per the university syllabus. To fulfill its spirit of practical knowledge, the college has set up laboratories.

The science context affords learners actual use of elaborate devices in practice and the psychology context aims at assessing and developing the special skills, preferences and potential of the students under the supervision of professionals in the field. The programme and courses offered by Vidya Vahini Shiksha Mahavidyalaya include the two major education programmes.

The two programmes are the four-year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and the two-year Diploma in Education (D. Ed) both of which offer full Intake of 50 students. These programmes aim at producing competent teachers who will effectively disseminate knowledge in teaching practice and arenas.

Consequently, the above two specialised courses are effectively trained and given emphasis with the aim of providing college graduates with the facility and strength to professionally meet the demands of modern teaching.

The Vidya Vahini Shiksha Mahavidyalaya comprises admissions made purely on the basis of merit since the results derived from either the qualifying examination or the entrance examination are taken into account. The admissions to the B. Ed programme are done in compliance with the guidelines laid down by the State Government, UT Administration and the University to which the College is affiliated.

Likewise, the admission policy of D. Ed programme is in line with the policy framed by the State Government or UT Administration. This approach helps to create equal chance to those people who wish to become educators so that only talented people get the chance to achieve that.
