Vivekananda College of Education, Arsikere, was started in the year 1974 and offers one of the reputed colleges for teacher education. This affiliated college is in the Hassan district of Karnataka and has been shaping the future educators for the last four and a half decades. NCTE recognised the college, which means that it has a standard B. Ed. college that provides quality teacher training to its students.

Spread across a narrow area of 2. 2 acres, the college is housing 80 students and has a faculty of 5 persons only. To its credit, Vivekananda College of Education boasts of a number of great amenities aimed at improving the learning experience of their students. A library is a central hub for knowledge, where prospective teachers acquire all the basic necessities.
