KMEA Engineering College Ernakulam was established in 2002 as a self-financing institution. The college is located on a 25-acre campus in Aluva, Ernakulam district, and has been accredited with a B++ grade by NAAC. The college offers 14 full-time courses across B. Tech, M. Tech, and MCA programmes. The college has a student strength of over 1000, along with 85 faculty members.

The UG courses are offered in diverse specialisations, including Computer Science, Mechanical , Civil, Electronics and Communication , Electrical and Electronics, Robotics and Automation , and Safety and Fire Engineering.
