Nam Rattra International College of Nursing, the Nursing college established in the year 2003 is one of the pioneer Nursing college situated at Amritsar, Punjab. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences affiliated and approved by INC – Indian Nursing Council this is a co-educational college.

Currently, the college is located on a vast area of 3 acres and is in a position to offer two unique nursing courses with a total intakes of ninety students. The institute hence has a team of faculty members of 16 highly dedicated professionals to enhance the student teacher ratio.

Nam Rattra International College of Nursing, an affiliated College of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot , offers two full-time nursing courses: B. Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The B. Sc Nursing is a four year course beginning with the intakes of forty students and the GNM is a three year course affiliated to Kerala University with a capacity of admission fifty students.

Both programmes are concerned with the delivery of the theoretical content and psychomotor skills that undergrad professional nursing practice. Need for the college’s programmes is evident from the fact that its total intake is 90 students, which is consistent with student enrolment.
