Saint Mary’s College of Teacher Education, Shillong Meghalaya is an established College, exclusively catering Teacher Education. This colleges has been training aspiring educators for more than eighty years since its establishment in 1937 and is co-educational. The college is an affiliated college and has the permission of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for the provisions of the college.

Saint Mary’s College of Teacher Education has specific specialisation on teacher education, and it currently has only one course, the B. Ed programme.
