SNGAP Syiem College, Mawkyrwat recognised in 1985 is affiliated college of Meghalaya, India. Located on a 2. 1111 acre land it provides a blend of several undergraduate programmes. The college NAAC accredited and has strength of 778 students. SNGAP Syiem College has total teaching faculties of 38 members and offers 11 courses in 5 degree programmes in arts, commerce, and science streams.

A close look at the college reveals its policy on quality education through its diversification of courses and more to do with dedicated instructors. SNGAP Syiem College has various amenities that have been profiled in order to improve the experience of the students.

A library with adequate furniture and space contains more than four thousand four hundred books as well as ten journals, magazines and newspapers to support the academician’s research and study. The campus sports an extra court outside which is used for basketball, Volleyball, Parades by NCC and other occasions. Housed in the Teachers’ Common Room are the table tennis and for players of indoor sports.

The college also has a computer Lab with 10 functional computer system that is willing to offer LAN and internet access for learning and teaching.

To establish the programme, A girls’ hostel with a capacity of over 50 students is available within our compound but 100 meters away from the main campus, it has the following facilities; The college canteen is an ideal place for students and staff to interact while free Wi-fi connectivity throughout the college area facilitates internet use for learning.

SNGAP Syiem College currently provides eleven courses , all of which are full time. The course listings of offered programmes encompass the Bachelor of Arts (BA), BA Education Hons , BA History Hons and BA English Hons etc. Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) and Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) with different honour disciplines.
