ST College of Nursing and Medical Sciences, Hoshiarpur is one of the renowned institution for establishing nursing college in the Punjab, India, established in year 2008. Situated at 9 km from Hoshiarpur on Una Road, this co-educational college occupies 8 acres of landscape. As affiliated college it has got recognition from Indian Nursing Council (INC), which assures the quality education in the aspect of nursing.

The three full time courses are as follows, they have a total student enrollments of 204 the institute is staffed by 30 members of faculty all with industry experience. Moreover, ST College of Nursing and Medical Sciences has focused on the education of health care professionals, especially nurses in particular area.

One of the most important assets of the college is to have a lovely and different –all kinds of– infrastructure facilities relating to the students’ academic and other personal developments during learning process. Library is one of the important academic resources because it supplies the necessary information in education process.

The campus used modern laboratories that give practical sessions which are very important in training nurses. On the health aspect, for the students there is a gym on the compound. The college also has equal importance to the comfort of the students which they demonstrate with different hostels for boys and girls.

In case of increased attendance an auditorium is provided for use in ceremonies among other occasions.

Sports facilities are important to help achieve a balanced lifestyle in population and guest rooms are used to accommodate the faculty and their families when they come to visit the university.

Nursing programs offered by the ST College of Nursing and Medical Sciences are specifically and largely oriented. The institute provides three full-time courses: GNM… ANM… B. Sc Nursing/Fast Track B. Sc for diploma nurses. The GNM program takes four years and admits students in an intake of 40 students. ANM, a two year course, also admits forty students. The B.

Sc Nursing programme duration is four-year undergraduate programme and has an intake capacity of thirty students. In total the college has an approved intake of 110 students in these programs and graduates are significantly placed in the healthcare workforce.
