Synod College Shillong, established in 1965, is one of the oldest educational institution located Jaiaw, Lumdiengjri, Shillong, Meghalaya. This affiliated college, established in a campus area of 4 acres, has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has 3,190 students and a faculty of 84. The college offer 20 courses under 7-degree programme.

The college is consciously multi-disciplinary and multi-faceted, with diverse course specialisations in arts, sciences, commerce and computer applications to fulfil the educational requirements of all kinds. Thus, Synod College provides its students with a great number of facilities that are aimed at improving the process of learning.
